Ince Africa Group has been recognised by the UK – DRC (The Democratic Republic of Congo) Chamber of Commerce in London (the “CCCGB”) for its effort in strengthening the ties with investors in commodities mined in Africa. As a result Africa focused partner Nuno Frota was appointed Honorary Member of the Chamber in London last November; this appointment follows key meetings with officials held at the London Royal Exchange in October last year. The Chamber who is chaired by Cedric Longange from BlackRock Financial Management works closely with the National Congolese Agency for the promotion of investment of the DR Congo (ANAPI).

The DRC is known for its high quality deposits of copper, cobalt, cassiterite (tin ore), coltan and oil and gold. Between 2010 and 2014, foreign direct investments in the DRC have experienced an average annual growth of 23.6%. Some $ 5 billion per year were invested, mainly in the mining industry according to BMI estimations.
