Clare is a professional support lawyer in the firm’s Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) group.

As a member of the firm’s Knowledge & Information Services team, Clare regularly contributes to internal legal updates and supports the E&I group in monitoring and analysing legal and market developments in the sector, managing the group's know-how, arranging training and answering queries from fee earners worldwide. Clare co-edits and produces content for the E&I group’s client Smart Contracting Bulletins and assists with the production of legal content for client seminars and external publications. She also helps organise and regularly attends the Smart Contracting Seminars hosted by the E&I group, both in Aberdeen and in Houston.

Clare qualified at a magic circle firm and has over 10 years’ in-house experience, mostly with an oil and gas E&P major, both in the UK and overseas. In this role, Clare gained experience in many legal aspects of the oil and gas industry including licensing, joint ventures (operated and non-operated assets), infrastructure, capital projects, procurement, transportation, product marketing and sales, asset and corporate acquisitions and disposals and dispute resolution.
