Nikolaos advises P&I Clubs, shipowning companies and charterers and represents them before Greek Courts on a wide range of wet and dry shipping disputes. He is experienced in claims arising in relation to charterparties, bills of lading, cargoes, shipbuilding contracts, sale and purchase agreements and labour disputes, as well as accidents at sea and maritime casualties.

Nikolaos also advises clients on insurance and reinsurance matters and their entry into commercial contracts including sale, lease and services agreements.

He has published papers in the Piraeus Bar Association’s peridiocal on issues such as the principle of autonomy in letters of credit, the applicable law on accidents of seamen, and a commentary on a judgment of the European Court of Justice regarding application of a jurisdiction clause in commercial agreements.

Prior to joining Ince & Co, Nikolaos worked as in-house legal counsel to a major shipping company in Greece and a Piraeus law firm.
