After graduating with a Senior Scholarship and 1st class degree from Peterhouse, Cambridge, Philip founded the dispute resolution department at Jeffrey Green Russell in 1980 and grew it to become one of the largest and most respected dispute-resolution operations in London’s West End.

With over 35 years experience, Philip is a highly experienced litigator and covers a wide range of commercial disputes, including contract, insolvency, shareholder and partnership disputes, cases involving international elements including enforcement of foreign judgments and conflict of laws, claims against foreign States, recognition of foreign governments, intellectual property and national and international arbitrations.

Additionally, he is often instructed by Plaintiff clients to handle negligence claims against professionals, including solicitors, accountants and surveyors.
