Vikash is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department having joined Gordon Dadds in 2015 following the merger with Jeffrey Green Russell.

In his 5 years post qualification, Vikash has gained experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters and advises both individuals and companies on a range of disputes including contractual claims, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes and debt collection. 

Vikash is often instructed to act for and against office holders in insolvency proceedings. He also has experience in presenting and opposing winding up and bankruptcy petitions.

Case highlights:

  • Acted for the Defendant, Gary Love, in an eight day trial in which Gordon Ramsay claimed that a personal guarantee worth £1.28m was signed on his behalf using a ‘ghost-writing machine’ without his knowledge and/or authority - Gordon James Ramsay -v- Gary Love
  • Acted for the Claimants in a five day trial in successfully recovering the sum of £1m in relation to the mismanagement of a waste recycling site in Ascot with claims for breach of contract, misrepresentation and trespass - Reginald Hyde and others -v- Simple Skips Limited and others [2017] EWHC 3087 (QB)
  • Acted for the Claimant, a fair ground operator, in seeking to assert a tenancy over two sites which she had occupied for a number of years at the annual St Giles Fair in Oxford - Dorinda Holland -v- Oxford City Council [2016] EWHC 2545 (Ch)
  • Acted for five Respondents in opposing an application by the Joint Trustees in Bankruptcy to set aside, under section 284 of the Insolvency Act 1986, dispositions totalling £2.5m made by the Bankrupt to the Respondents in the period between the presentation of the bankruptcy petition and the making of the bankruptcy order.
  • Represented the Jointed Liquidators of a company in seeking to recover, pursuant to section 127 of the Insolvency Act 1986, dispositions made by the company to the Respondents totalling £1m.
